Joss Whedon read a book. It inspired a TV series… a movie… and a fandom. Firefly, Serenity, Browncoats. The book was The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara. It tells the story of the Battle of Gettysburg during the American Civil War during 1863. The Pennsylvania Browncoats invite you to Gettysburg, PA for the Browncoat Ball in 2017, August 11-13.
