Does anyone have any advice on August weather for the DC area?

Is it sticky and humid and hot? Does it get cool in the evenings? Will I need a sweater or a raincoat? Will I die of heat exhaustion if I wear jeans?

You know, that sort of advice.

If you plan on wearing jeans, drinks LOTS of water.

We should be encouraging each other to bring a bottle when we go out and/or take a bottle when we come back!
